JCRPD Inc., also dba JCR Product Development, was founded by James Roberts and is headquartered in Vancouver, WA. JCRPD is recognized as a unique full service product development and process solutions provider in the Pacific Northwest. The company is a one-stop resource for clients looking to design, develop, and introduce new product into the marketplace; who need process development and/or improvement support on specific projects; and who are evolving their Marketing Communications program to include virtual productions for animated product collateral, sales 'Flash' presentations, interactive training videos, etc. JCRPD offers services to existing and start-up businesses, as well as entrepreneurs. The client base includes both commercial and industrial sectors that demand high quality process standards.

The JCRPD Team

An essential element in our approach to delivering on our mission statement is the formation of a powerful technical staff that is highly skilled in engineering, design and manufacturing. Combined with a solid background in sales and marketing ensures a high degree of responsiveness to the needs of our customers.

Our Team consists of senior level engineers and designers with many years of broad industry experience involving:

•  All phases of the product design and development process
•  Manufacturing process improvement, machine selection, jig-fixture design and equipment automation
•  Simple parts and assemblies to complex electro-mechanical system integration
•  Hands-on applications using Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, ANSI standards, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and ssTolerancing), and DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) techniques.
•  Proven competence using design tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, and ProEngineer, plus proficiency with ssdesign enhancement tools, including Cosmos FEA (Finite Element Analysis) packages, FMEA (Failure Mode and ssEffects Analysis).
•  Graphic design tools, including 3-D Studio Max, Flash Professional, Flamingo, Penguin, Bongo, Adobe Illustrator, ssPhotoShop and others, for solid modeling, rendering, and animation to produce interactive Video/Audio presentations.
